love the pictures of Dunellen and Washington Rock...I will give your flight info to Teisha - she will be at work that day and can track your flight and let me know if it will land on time while I am driving. If i don't get bogged down in traffic, i should get to the airport by 11:30 or 12 noon. I will figure out where to park and then meet you somewhere inside. If i am late, i will just give you a call.....see you soon
I loved the pictures! Let's not forget our own cameras, I had a picture of 505 Madison Avenue, but I don't know where it is... its on the web someplace, so we need to stop there and take more pictures. I would also like a picture of Claire Vargo's house.
Its going to be a LONG day - the day we travel, but it will be GREAT. Kathy, do you want me to route the trip from the airport to Union, to Dunellen - do we want to go to Union? I think its close to Newark... I know Gramma lived on Stuyvasant (spelling) avenue - it would be fun to see if that old house is still standing.
Gramma actually lived on Selfmaster Pkwy - maybe the number was 601 - not sure....anyway, I have a garmin so we should be able to find it!
I used to have (and probably still do somewhere) the cutest little note Mimi wrote when she was at the Alzheimer's Group. It had her Selfmaster Parkway address on it in very shaky handwritting and she was walking around to other Alzheimer people asking them to bring her home... I wonder if that house is still green colored.
that is so cute of her. take lots of pictures and we could replay the slide show.. its creeping up on us!! i need to look @ the countdown again.. miss you guys. i tell you what it is Sooo fantastic to have my emmy and her hubby home with steve and i!! i love it!! every morning i wake up and remember all the happy things going on and cant wait to start my day!!
